When Bob Fisher arrived at Belmont University in 2000, the institution carried a $250,000 operating deficit and fewer than 3,000 students. Twenty-one years later, enrollment had nearly tripled, annual operating surplus reached $110 million, and over $1 billion had been invested in the campus — largely without debt.
